A mechanical engineer by profession, 33-year-old Chef Thashvin Muckatira’s motto in life is to ‘travel for food’.
After completing his mechanical engineering at BIT, Bangalore he decided to head to the US to pursue his masters at Ohio State University and thereafter completed his MBA at the University of Wisconsin. His stint in USA gave him immense opportunity to travel across the region and experience food, his first love.
Post getting married he decided on moving back to Bangalore to pursue a corporate job and in a year he knew this is exactly what he wanted to do. He definitely wanted to create food that he experienced in the US, full of meat, cheesy and loaded! And to give people meat worth their money! Everything then fell into place and heralded the start of a gastronomical journey.
Today, Thashvin can be seen dishing out delectable fare in PlanB and Siam Trading Co. Thai Kitchen + Bar. Thashvin continuously looks for new ways to bring interesting tastes and plans on travelling around the world drawing inspiration from cuisines across the globe and blending international tastes and techniques into his cooking.

Born and bought up in Bangalore, Sundeep did his schooling at St. Germain’s High School and holds a BBM degree along with Bachelor’s in Hotel Management degree from Goldfinch University. Upon graduating from college, he took the most common option available to graduates at that time and joined AMEX at their customer care department. After logging a few years with the global corporation came to the realization that corporate life was not him.
Having been exposed to an entrepreneurial lifestyle from an early age thanks to his father, who at one time co-owned a hotel for ten years, Sundeep decided to follow his footsteps and get into food and beverage industry. He teamed up with a famous Chinese restaurant chain and opened his first solely owned franchised restaurant in Jayanagar and shortly after opened another one in BTM layout. These restaurants soon became the highest revenue grosser for the company.
In 2010, Sundeep met Thashvin Muckatira and that’s when Holy Cow Hospitality was born. Today, the company owns two successful brands – PlanB and Sima Trading Co. with 4 restaurants in Bangalore.
